Back problems are very common. Most back problems start for no obvious reason, which can be very frustrating. You are not alone Back pain affects 8 out of 10 people at some time in their lives but is rarely due to any serious disease or damage.
Sore backs can be limiting at first, but it is still possible to do most normal activities without putting additional strain on the back. Staying active and continuing ordinary activities as normally as possible will help you with improved coping and faster recovery, even if you have to modify these at first.
In most cases, the back will heal itself and staying active and continuing with your usual activities will normally promote healing.
